• dollhouse miniature carpets - Nomadic people have been weaving and knotting carpets for centuries. Different tribes and origins have given us a broad range of colors and designs. During centuries carpets have been traded between the Orient and Europe and later America. Carpets of Caucasian, Turkmen and Turkish origin have been used in a lot of interiors and different styles for a long time. A lot of painters of the 16-17-18-19th century show these carpets in their paintings. The fine floral style is a workshop carpet what became fashion end of the 19th century. For some of my carpets I found inspiration in real existing carpets and styles, some of them are fantasy... I hope you will like them as much as I do!
